Client Insights. Why they matter in the creative process.

Client insights are essential part of understanding how you are perceived by your customers, and how your brand is viewed in the marketplace.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s part of our discovery work with clients as we work through visual identity and branding programs. It’s the first stage of getting to know a company in order to develop a new plan forward through design, and creative executions.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Talking with our clients customers helps us confirm external views, insights and perceptions of the companies we work with. It helps validate our deep dive into who, what, why and how?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Is your company culture really how you say it is? What about customer service? How do client experience working with you? What keeps them coming back? If we’re going to develop a new tagline, and new brand position, and new identity - we want to know who you REALLY are in the eyes of your current clients and customers.

It’s a simple step of the creative process, but often skipped. But so very useful in better understanding companies, their marketing and branding efforts, brand positioning and language, and where they are headed in the future.

It also results in some pretty cool ideas, concepts and the ability to share things like client testimonials in future.

In a recent Client Insights Series, we uncovered the root of what one company what all about - Speed-to-Market, rooting one of their new brand messages: “Speed-to-Market Masters.” It was a client differentiator we heard time and time again, and helped inform how we integrated this feedback into a full company re-brand and re-positioning.

When working with an agency who jumps straight into creative executions, you run the risk of missing some key information that can help inform Strategic Marketing & Communications - rather, going at things very tactically, through the lens of design only.

We suggest otherwise.

We want to get to know why you’re great, and why others love you.

Why you’re successful - and in turn, how you can be doing more of what’s working.

These sessions are invaluable to CEOs, VPs, division leaders and Entrepreneurs.
